As with anything good, they’ll always be cheap knockoffs. If you’re purchasing Flock for a DIY project (E.g., Vehicle Dashboard/Trim, Jewellery Boxes, Toolboxes etc) it’s important to ensure it’s not “electrostatic flock.”
Electrostatic flocking requires an electric charge to orient fibres and promote their perpendicular alignment. Although electrostatic flock may appear similar to our proprietary fibres, the finish provided via a traditional application gun will be poor.
