What’s the difference between Flock Industries fibres and the competition's?

We're glad you asked! Unlike the competition, our robust Flock Fibres accommodate a soft velvet-like finish whilst preventing fingerprints. Furthermore, our Flock Fibres are water resistant, fade resistant and UV Ray resistant which means they’re ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.

 

We’re constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with our Flocking Kits. To align with our mission, our team is frequently working with some of Australia’s biggest names in product development and testing. Our products are constantly revised based off user generated feedback to ensure we’re surpassing your wildest expectations.

What is Flocking? & What Can I Flock?

Flocking is the process of applying tiny monofilament fibres to a substrate to achieve a soft suede or velvet-like finish. Familiar examples of flocked materials consist of; vehicle glovebox compartments, jewellery box interiors and tool chests/lined boxes.

What can I Flock?

Anything! (Literally 😜) Flocking is utilised across a large array of industries with the common goal of enhancing the aesthetic appearance, durability, and tactile sensation of an object. Flocking has been prevalent since the late 19th century and was commonly used for numerous artistic ventures such as jewellery boxes, pottery, arts, and ceramics. Today, flocking is extensively used within a large array of industries, more predominately the automotive sector as the preferred method to repair and enhance, vehicle dashboards, gloveboxes, interior trim pieces, motorcycle saddlebags, window rubbers, etc.

Do you dropship your Flock Kits?

No! 🤢 Our Flock Kits and Flocking products are handmade, cured and dispatched in house – right here in Australia!

Do you offer custom Flock, Colours & Quantities?

Absolutely! We’re able to accommodate custom fibre cuts (lengths & widths) colours and quantities. Special colours can be sampled from basically any colour swatch. Please Note: Tailored orders require a 6-7 week lead time. Should you or your business need a tailored solution please contact us via [email protected].

I'm yet to receive my parcel, what should I do?

If your delivery has exceeded the shipping timeframe, please contact the courier prior to initiating a support ticket. If our courier partner is unable to find a suitable location to leave your parcel, it will be relocated to your local post office.

Should the Post office be unable to locate your parcel, please reach out to our Customer Care Team via [email protected].

I've received my parcel, but my product arrived damaged?

In the unfortunate event that your package is damaged in transit, please notify us within 3 days of the parcel being delivered via [email protected]

It’s important to provide clear & descriptive photos of everything you have received and the condition of the parcel and products. 

I accidentally entered the wrong address, what do I do?

Please contact [email protected] ASAP. In some instances, we may be able to change the address prior to your order being fulfilled/departing our warehouse.

How can I view my previous orders?
You can login to your Flock Industries account via the dashboard to check on your order history.
 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

How do I know if I'm eligible for a return & refund?

We hope that you will be delighted with your Flock Industries purchase! If you change your mind about your purchase, no worries, we accommodate a 30 day return policy! However, it must be unused and unopened. 

We will only provide you with a refund once the product is returned to us, and our team ensures it is unused and in resalable condition.

To be able to return a product, you must provide a valid proof of purchase from flockindustries.com

What is the Flock Industries return process?
  • Email your returns form along with a photo of the products you are returning to [email protected]
  • Once approved, ensure your return is well packaged and meets all the pre-requisites outlined in the Returns Policy (located below).
  • Please mark 'Returned Items' clearly on the outer packaging of your parcel.
  • Use an insured tracking delivery service to ensure your parcel reaches us safely.
  • Send a follow up email with your tracking information to [email protected]

What do I do if I’ve received an incorrect or damaged product?

If you have received the incorrect product or the product you have received is faulty, please email [email protected] with photos and we will assist you with this promptly.

 

Please ensure you reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your order and don’t dispose of the product, so we can assess your claim. 

What are the Returns Terms & Guidelines?
  • All return items must be unused, unopened, and complete with original plastic wrapping.
  • We are not responsible for the return shipping costs of the items.
  • Please make sure all return items are well packaged, so as not to be damaged in the post.
  • Please make sure all return packages are sent with a trackable, insured service as we cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the return transit.
  • Please make sure that the returns form has been approved - without approval it may result in your return not being processed.

Why was my card declined when placing an order?

If you’re having trouble with payment, please ensure that you are using one of our accepted payment methods and that you have sufficient funds on your card. How can I change or cancel my order?

In line with our promise, we aim to ensure all kits depart our warehouse within hours of purchasing. As a result, we can't guarantee orders can be edited or cancelled once placed. If you would like to edit or cancel your order, please contact us via [email protected] with your order details as soon as possible.

Does Flock Industries offer payment plans?

Currently, no. However, if you’re located in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Germany or the United Kingdom, Afterpay will be available shortly.
